The first round of the competition will be a standard average of 5 for every event.  The second round will officially be recorded as a Best of 1 for all events, but the real feature of the second round is that it will be a singe-elimination, head-to-head tournament.  Winners will advance to the the next "round," while the others are eliminated.  Your solve in the first round of the head-to-head will be WCA official, and all following solves will not be official, but will determine the victor of each matchup in successive rounds.  Final rounds based on the "Best of 1" round may be offered if time is remaining.    The champion of this round will receive $100 cash prize.
