Parking Map

Most of the blue lots shown below are free on the weekends, others will ticket you without a proper permit.  You can check to see if a lot is free by reading the blue signs at the entrance, any blue sign with "Monday - Friday" on it will not be monitored over the weekend.  Parking lots close to the venue which are safe for parking include the street parking on Bonisteel and following lots:

Note that the closest blue lot to Pierpont - NC27, is not free on the weekends.  Be careful not to park in spots with special signs attached to them, such as ones listed as "Gold" or "Loading and Unloading."  Ann Arbor/Campus police are vigilant about ticketing and towing, so make sure that you are in a normal parking spot within each lot.  One special sign that is okay is the red sign with numbers.  These are visitor spots, which are safe for parking.  You will not need to pay for these visitor spots as long as they are within any of the lots listed above, but you will have to pay for visitor spots in Lot NC27 at a rate of $1.20/hour.

You are ultimately responsible for making sure that you find a valid parking space, I cannot be held responsible for any tickets recieved.  That being said, there is ample free parking available across campus.

Hotels

There are numerous hotels close to the venue near the intersection of Plymouth and Green.  Microtel is the cheapest of the bunch, but Hampton also offers a shuttle to campus.  To see rates and locations, click here.

Air Travel

If you are planning on flying, plan on flying into DTW.  There is a very reasonable shuttle service from DTW to Ann Arbor, check out rates and times at AirRide's website.  Roundtrip is $22 for adults, and any accompanying children 17 and under ride for free.  This service drops you off at the Central Campus Transit Center, which has several local bus routes that run through it, including a free bus that will take you to North Campus, where the venue is located.
