Definitions of time restraints:
- Cutoff: a time restraint under which a competitor must yield a result in his/her first attempts, as specified. Otherwise, the competitor is not allowed further attempts.
- Time limit: a time restraint immediately after which a competitor's attempt is stopped. If the puzzle is not solved, the attempt is labelled as DNF ("Did Not Finish"). Exceptions: For Fewest Moves Solving, competitors must submit a legibly written solution when time is called; For Rubik's Cube: Multiple Blindfolded solving, the competitor will be stopped and the resting state of the puzzles will be considered, with the time being 60:00.
NOTE: If you know you cannot solve under the time limit for an event, please refrain from registering for that event. This really helps the organisation team with accurate scheduling and the ability to better maintain our strict schedule.

Prizes for BASC 5 will be distributed post-competition as credit to TheCubicle.us. A gift code will be sent to the email address you provided when you signed up for the competition for the total amount of credit you won.
Credit will be awarded to all competitors who get 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in the final round of an event as described below.
