Venue Information
The competition will take place in room 400 of the Aero Institute. See map below for directions. (You might have trouble viewing the map with Internet Explorer 8. If so, try Internet Explorer 9 or Firefox.)
Signs on the Building:
The AERO Institute is also called the Palmdale Institute of Technology.
Parking:
Free. There is parking available on the south side of the building (as seen in the photo below), and if that fills up, there is additional parking on the north side of the building.
Bringing Food and Drink:
The competition room is carpeted and there are no tables to eat at. Therefore, if you bring food or drinks into the room, please remember that spills happen, and plan accordingly to keep the cleanup task to a minimum. For example, use closed containers (e.g. bottles rather than cups) and avoid bringing messy food that leaves lots of crumbs or stains. There is a table and some benches in the courtyard outside the competition room, and there is a break room next to the competition room with tables, a refrigerator, microwave, a snack vending machine, and a soft drink vending machine.
Nearby Food Establishments:
There are several food establishments within a mile of the Aero Institute on Palmdale Blvd between the freeway and the Aero Institute (e.g., Taco Bell, McDonalds, In ‘N’ Out, Subway, Jack in the Box)
