Travel and Venue Information
Here are the venues:
College Park, MD
The College Park venue (EST time zone) will be in Jimenez Hall, room 1226, located on McKeldin Mall. Parking is free in NONNUMBERED spots on Sundays at Regents Drive Garage.
The WCA Delegate will be Keaton Ellis.
The Athens, GA venue (EST time zone) will be at the Tate Student Center at UGA, in room 352, 45 Baxter Street, Athens, GA, 30603. Parking is free in most UGA lots on Weekends, I would reccommend parking in the journalism lot on Hooepr Street (N09), or Legion Lot located on Lumpkin Street(W06) over the Tate Parking Deck.
The WCA Delegate will be Jacob Ambrose.
Ann Arbor, MI
The Ann Arbor location (EST time zone) will be held in Michigan League on the U of M campus, and the WCA Delegate will be James Hildreth.
The venue will be the Michigan Room of the League, which can be found on the second floor.
Street parking is free on Sundays, so we recommend finding a parking space on the streets close to the Michigan League.
The Minneapolis location (CST time zone) will be at the New Brighton Community Center in New Brighton, Minnesota. The WCA Delegate will be Walker Welch.
The event will be in Room 218 in the Community Center.
The Denver location (MST time zone) will be in the conference room at the Best Western Southwest (Dino Hotel) in Lakewood, CO. The WCA delegate will be AJ Blair.
The Pasadena location (PST time zone) will be B280 Moore on the Caltech campus. The WCA delegate will be Michael Young.
The Berkeley location (PST time zone) will be 60 Evans Hall on the UC Berkeley campus. The WCA delegate will be Shelley Chang.
Parking is difficult to find in Berkeley; therefore, carpools and public transportation options are highly recommended. The UC Berkeley campus is a 5-10 minute walk from the Downtown Berkeley BART station.
The Portland location (PST time zone) will be at the Neuberger Hall (Portland State University) in Portland, OR, and the WCA delegate will be Kit Clement.
The event will be in room 373 of Neuberger Hall, also marked as the conference room. Enter Neuberger Hall from the north entrance near SW Harrison St. Street parking is free until 1pm in downtown, but after that proof of payment is required. PSU garages require payment at all hours.
Portland State University is accessible by TriMet's green and yellow/orange MAX lines, Portland Streetcar, and several bus routes along the transit mall.
